This was a one night stop for us, however, we love KOA's and their security. This one is nestled between Macon and Atlanta and has great amenities like a pool, full hook-ups, laundry and Pet-Friendly. Spots were pretty big and it was an easy jump off and on the I-75 highway.
Check out the following while here:
* High Falls State Park
* Hamlin Hills Falls
Tallulah Gorge State Park, a great place to park and camp in an RV with children. This part of the park is fantastic for swimming and playing. We got to even go down the slide.
If you want to kick it up a notch and test out your endurance, try hiking the 1,062 steps down the canyons to view some of the most amazing waterfalls and natural scenery.
Lake Rabun, GA
This area is one of our favorites, and although we have a lot of pictures, we can't show them all on here. But we highly encourage you to check out the area. Start in Clayton. And end at the Smokey's or at the Blue Ridge. Either way, you can't go wrong.
Lake Rabun, Lake Burton and Lake Meade are three of a series of 6 Georgia power lakes that feed energy to the region. This lakes are fed by the Talulah River.
This area is a big favorite for the Biondi's. We have been coming here to visit our friends since the kids were little. And it has always been a dream of ours to purchase a small place. We are still working on that dream but we always make it a point to stop and take it all in before we head back to Florida.
